Question:
I have chrome trim rings on the wheels of my Blazer. They're rusty and ugly, and I want to remove them. I figure they can't be too hard to get off since one has already vanished over the winter, and a second came off when I slid off the road last week. I figure if I'm down by two, I might as well remove the other two.
Is it just a matter of prying them off? Can I just pop them off with my fingers? I just want to make sure I'm not going to ruin anything on my wheels.

insert a pry bar or screwdriver between the outside edge of the rim and the edge of the trim slide the driver around til you find the clip ( just try to find the tightest spot between the rim and trim) then twist the driver til the trim pops loose repeat the process til the whole thing pops offjust stick a screwdriver between the rim and the beauty ring and pry it off.
