Answers:
i have a ford fiesta 1.1lx with the engine and brake problem?
if your talking about the drum listen to all aboveif your talking about the brakes then just do one side at a time so you can look at the other side for reference. or you can take digital pictures of the brakes before you disassemble them. remember its like a mirror image if you use one side for reference. if a blue spring if toward the front on one side its the same on the other, make sure you pay attention to the star wheel adjuster too. make sure you put that in the right way. or get a book
REal simple task. After taking the wheel off, if you try and pull the drum off and it wont go. Grab a break adjustment tool and adjust the break all the way in until the drum will come off. Sometimes when the rear drum breaks are neglected the shoes will tend to wear a lip on the edge of the drum and make it hell to take off. Good luck.
Car paint chip - does the choice of paint matter?
Which rear end do you have?Where is the PCV valve on 99 CIVIC EX? Thanks?
There may be a spring clip on one or more of the wheel bolts and there may be rust aruund the center of the drum if it fits over a boss machined on the disc that holds the wheel bolts. usually some gentle pesuasion with a hammer will loosen it up.Stay away from using heat if you are not experienced as you could damage the oil seals. Don't forget to get wheel cylinder kits and rebuild your wheel cylinders. You really should invest in a CHILTONS repair manual. Might save you from making mistakes.More Questions & Answers ...
