1989 Chevy Corisca Defroster Core air box control hot to cold?

Core is hot,the air is cold ... Hot Coolant flowing .. but air still cold..coming out the defroster ...

I see DMagic reads about as well as he types.
The hot/cold control works a little door in the vent that mixes hot and cold air together to get the temperature you want. In older vehicles those doors get stuck or the vacuum powered actuator that controls them fails. It's a fair job getting to it to fix it. A friend and half a case of beer at least.
