Question:
I have a 2003 Chevrolet Z71 Pickup. Today i go to start it up and the gauges on the dash wont move, none of them. The odometer and transmission status bars (digital) both still work. I checked the fuse and when i pull it out both the odometer and transmission status bars go out, so those and the gauges are on the same fuse, so the fuse was good. So what do you think is causing the problem? Do i need to purchase a new instrument cluster? Thanks!

Does neutral count as a gear?
There is a bulletin 03-08-49-020 that may fix the problem. It is a reprogram for the IPC. You will need to go to dealer or someone who has tech2 with current program updates. Bulletin does say if reprogram does not fix replace cluster. Good luck
