I had a new exhuast fited yesterday and the car was OK, last night I reset the warning codes and she ticked over spot on, I also took the connections off the MAF, coil and manifold Lambda sensor and gave them a clean and a skirt of WD-40 today the car is running really bad, no acceleration, juddering and engine does not want to go past 3500 rpm,
help please :o)

You've probably screwed your Lambda Sensor - it is picking up oil and shorting sending the signal back to your EMU that all is not right - should never mess with the Lambda Connectors or the sensor OR you've connected it back up wrongSounds like your running on three cylinders.
Did you take the plug leads off?
If so have you put them back on the right cylinders?

well when you had the exhaust fitted you also have to re adjust the fuel injecters uner the headers so you have proper amount of back pressureMy ranger has 3.0 vin#v was thinking put 4.0 but vin dont match will it work if vin dont match?
The first thing I'd do after rechecking the sensor connectors I had removed would be to read out any error codes which may be stored in the computer. For 1996 and later vehicles, the OBD-II diagnostic connector where the scanner hooks up to is under your steering wheel and dash. The scanner would also tell you if your computer is going into "closed loop" as it should after a couple minutes of engine warm up time from a cold start. If not, that will point you toward the sensor(s) which are keeping it from going into the normal fully automatic closed loop control. While in open loop, the computer uses fixed default settings and if a sensor problem is bad enough, it may enter the "limp home mode" in which the engine runs just well enough to get you to a garage.How to remove windshield wiper marks off of my car window?
the wd40 is acting like unwanted resistence in all the sensor circuits. use connector cleaner to flush them out. leave the connections apart till everything dries and clear all the trouble codes.The car is still in limp home mode which means you either have a wirelose or you have not erased all the fault codes.
