do the usual stuff wheel alignment, balancing, tire pressure check . if the problem persists check the dampers, struts, bearings, lower arms, caliper bolt, bushing(if ur car uses this setup) . replace the faulty part if u find any.do not waste time n money repairing them.problems resurface on repaired parts.

Can I use truck tires/SUV tires on my Chevelle?

Like everyone else I'd be inclined to say that you need an alignment or balance. The other thing that no one mentioned though is cheap tyres. If you buy cheap you quite often buy lesser quality which means they'll be noisier & shakier. If you put cheap tyres on the machine to balance them up you can see the tread as it's spinning & see how far off being straight it is. This is enough for a perfectly balanced wheel on a perfectly aligned car to be driving you nuts. You don't tend to feel it until you get up to the speeds you're experiencing your vibration at. Just a thought if it's only happened since you replaced your tyres...
