Oldsmobile alero starting problems?
A C clamp and some sockets. You press the caps in with the clamp and the right sized socket. Only an idiot would hammer it together. The part you have to be careful with is to not let any of the little roller bearings get out of place while you're inserting the cross piece into the caps. You press one cap in a little bit, insert the cross piece and start the other cap in. Press them in till you just clear the slot that the clips go in. The u-joint should rotate very easily.
What kind of tire is needed for a Konig rim?
Depending on the vehicle, it can be a very simple bolt out and in, though some systems require a press fitting.Usually an open end wrench and some patients. Make sure you grease the needle bearings well before installing. Some units are pre-lubed, but do not assume it, or you may be on your back again.
My ford F-250 will stall on me while driving why and how to fix it?
A compression ring remover/installing tool will be of great importance to you. A good soft and hard faced dual end plastic hammer and a brass drift punch will also be needed. That and a can of PB Blaster and some good moly/lithium grease would be a good idea too. Just be sure to not bend or twist the compression rings(some places call them snap rings) otherwise you'll have to replace it or them as you cannot reuse a bent or twisted one with out damaging the u joint unit itself.More Questions & Answers ...
