Question:
The curb didnt cause any damage to the body so i thought i was in the clear, But then i saw all the oil had leaked onto the ground in my parking space. Does this mean I have ruined the engine? The oil leaked out from the front of the car about 2 feet in from the center. I drove straight into the curb head on because i thought there was a ramp but a curb was in the middle. Any ideas?

What are components of the well?
Relax. Put the car up on a lift or jack and take the oil pan off. Clean and inspect the oil pan and clean and inspect the oil pick up tube. Replace both the oil pan and pick up tube if you can. If you cannot, clean both completely and make sure neither has any holes or other damage which is any more than cosmetic. Fill the oil and run the car. Keep a slose eye on the engine during the first several hundred miles their after to make sure you did not miss something. As one of the other persons said, you likely put a crack or hole in the oil pan and need to replace it. Make sure that is all it is.My vauhall corsa needs an engine diagnostic test does this have to be done at a vauxhall dealers ?
what?If you turned off the engine immediately, or at least before you lost your oil, you may just need a pan. Don't run it even with oil, because the pickup tube may be blocked or kinked.
What bolt pattern has a 1997 Chrysler Sebring convertible?
The oil pan is fairly easy to replace in that car, but check that you didn't take anything else out along with it.
Where is the best place to get used/wholesale windshield for 1993 ford aerostar in north georgia/?
You probably just knocked a little hole in your oil pan...As long as you didn't try to run the engine without oil, you
should have no damage to the engine..
Just get the little hole in the oil pan fixed and put some more
oil in it...
If you didn't keep the engine running or drove it after hitting the curb, your okay. Sounds like you drug the oil pan, not a big deal in that car (will cost bucks, buy the new pan from a wrecking yard) Do not drive the car, if you've got GOOD synthetic oil in it, you can fire up the engine safely, just don't run it longer that a couple of minuets. And from now on, watch the curbs, not the blondes.
