A valve reseal is replacing the seals which surround the valve stems on an engine. Replacing these seals stops oil from leaking past the valve seat and entering the combustion chamber causing the engine to smoke out the exhaust by burning oil. This saves oil consumption and wear and tear on the engine overall.
