Is it necessary to change automatic gear transmission oil.?

Question:
I have '99 Toyota Camry, bought it year ago but never checked or changed transmission oil

Answers:

I just purchased a Rough Country 4" lift, can I put 33 x 12.5 on my factory 15 x 7" wheels?

You should check the transmition fluid when the car is warm and the gear is in neutral. After so many years it might be a bit low.
The filter should also be changed and refilled with fresh cherry juice.

What's the average cost of a paint job?

Transmission fluid should be changed every 30-50 thousand miles no matter what car you have. It should always be light pink and clear not dark , dirty or smell burnt.

i have a 1989 2.3L ford mustang lx. i want to convert it to a 5.0L. what do i need to do?

the filter is what really needs to be changed, but to get to it you'll loose alot of fluid so you need to replace that fluid using this method you wont get all old fluid out some service stations now offer a way to get all fluid out

I have a 1998 Explorer that kicks into 4wd by itself when it hits 25mph. Anybody know what's wrong?

yes you need to change the filter AND fluid. check the dipstick or manual to see whether it needs to be in park or neutral.
ford and chevy is park usually
