PSI = POUNDS per square inch. It's already in pounds.No conversion neccessary.

i mechanic for a living and own a shop,its the same on most gages it reads in pounds per square inch,,if it says max-36 that's the most that can be put in them,,usually you run them around 32 ,it should read on the tire somewhere ,good luck hope this help,s.,,happy new years.More Questions & Answers ...
