Question:
Is there any benefit to having a manual control (on/off switch) on a car's electric cooling fan rather than a thermostat controlled fan?
Answers:
but for a race car, is good (with a secondary switch aux fan)
Clear coating, tips and max number of coats?
A thermostat can break and the car may overheat. A simple electric toggle switch probably will not break.drawbacks.. you may forget to turn the fan on and the car will overheat anyway.
Questions about a 1996 mercury mystique?
I have heard of people doing it when thier thermostat failed. Rather than replaceing it, they just rigged up a switch. It's a 2 dollar fix rather than a 100+ dollar fix.
