I have a 91 Lincoln Towncar with electronic air ride?

Lately for the past couple weeks, the fuse on the air ride has been blowing. Can someone tell me why it might be doing this? Is something wrong with the car? Do I need to replace the air ride?

It has an air leak somewhere within the system - most likely the air strut bags are cracked. Beause of this, the compressor is forced to run constantly trying to keep pressue where it's supposed to be. This all by itself should not blow the fuse BUT when a compressor runs extensively, it eventually locks up, and THAT takes the fuse out.
