How do you know when your rear end is going out on your car?
ABS sensors are magnets that read a slotted dish on the wheel. if they get dirty and cant read they will turn on the ABS lite. most times this will not affect your cars brakes, but it is something that needs to be checked, unless you fell lucky, well do ya?One of my headlights on 2003 sunfire is dim, replaced bulbs but still dim, any ideas?

Your repair shop will read out the ABS error codes and a likely problem is one of your ABS wheel sensors. They sense when your wheel is slipping and activate the ABS to stop the wheel from slipping or skidding. Even with the ABS dash light on, your brakes will still work ok except may not have the ABS anti-skid feature working. Why does the fluid in the overflow resovoir sounds like it's boiling after I drive a long distance?
The first thing to check is the brake fluid level. If that gets too low it will turn on the brake warning light. At that point the brakes should still work normally, but the ABS system will be shut off.If the brake fluid is low, you need to figure out why. The most frequent cause is normal brake wear, but you could have a fluid leak, or there could be something else wrong with the brake system. As the front pads wear, more and more brake fluid remains in the slave cylinders and the fluid level in the reservoir gets low. When the pads are replaced, the pistons in the brake cylinders are pushed back in and fluid is pushed back up into the reservoir. So check to see if you need new brake pads first. If that's not it, take it to a dealer (they will have the computer diagnostic equipment) or a good mechanic to get it checked out.
