Head gasket question?

well im pretty sure i have a head gasket blown, or a cracked/warped head but i havnt looked yet. i have a v6 3.0 liter. do i absolutly positively have to change the exhaust gasket. if i dont will it blow my top head gasket again?...

If you remove the exhaust gasket it's best to replace it with a new one. If the old one looks like it's in very good shape you could use it again. These gaskets are relatively inexpensive, so that's why you might as well change it now while the manifold has been removed.

unless you want to take it apart again put the new exhuast gasket on. blown exhuast gaskets are noisy. mess with emissions and if severe enough and driven long enoug can create more serious issues
