replace transmission or just fix problem?
If it blows cold air, first check the coolant level for the engine and fill as needed. If it is low, you should look around for wet areas indicating a leak that must be repaired. If it is not blowing air at all, go first to the fuses. If it is a fuse blown, after replacing it listen carefully to the fan to see if you notice any difference in the sound. It may blow the fuse you install. If it does, or if you do notice a strange sound, head for your mechanic's place. Do not continue to put in new fuses.Fuse, resistor,or relay.
Idling problem with Mitsubishi Pinin 2.0 GDI?
i mechanic for a living, and you can check the fuse for it,,other wise you might have to take it in and get it checked out, there's a lot of things that can cause it not to work, there's too many things that it can be ,to say for sure, good luck hope this help,s.happy new years. There's three things that could be causing this.
1-The water flow valve that controls the hot water going into the heater may have a problem (I believe your model has a vacuum controlled unit)
2-If the fan is not working, you will only get heat blowing in at highway speeds.
3-The controls to the "door" inside the interior ductwork may not be working. When you move the knob to heat, the air is supposed to re-vented to the heater core.
The only easy fixes are to look for a blown fuse or any sign that a vacuum hose has come loose. Otherwise, this could be a repair that requires work under the dash.
