A mechanic said that there was no power to the mass air flow sensor. He replaced the pigtail because you could see a burn mark on the wire and there was no power to the mass air flow sensor. After replacing the pigtail, there is still no power going to it. What could be wrong. This all happened very suddenly two days ago.

1) He did a crappy job with the pigtail, whatever that is. Last I knew, cars did not have bovine parts.2) The fuse blew when the short occurred and has not been replaced.
3) The codes have not been reset even though the problem is fixed.
