1990 Buick LeSabre wont start! Fuse? Short?

this past year there was a few recalls on the prius, (certain models) but mainly they are reliable. if you are looking for great gas mileage and reliability look at the Toyota yaris, it is much less to start off and gets close gas mileage. Some flaws are if it catches fire, most firemen won't rescue anyone inside, because of the such high voltage the system uses, and the gasses that can be released from the battery packs is very explosive. they have great turning radius and are easy to drive though. just get rid of it before the battery system has to get replaced

I hope you are not buying the car for environmental reasons because calculating the total life cycle of the car it pollutes more than a regular one (even an SUV)...

How much does it cost to install a car wash system into a gas station?

They havn't been out long enough to talk about long term reliability, however if thier other cars are any idicator, the offerings from Honda and Toyota should be plenty reliable.

EB Falcon want to do up?

The only unknown at this point is how long those big batteries will last... and when they do finally go kaput ( and they eventually will ), how much will it cost to replace them? It might be quite costly.

Corsa using excessive fuel?

The drawbacks to buying a hybrid? The cost. They are more expensive then thier non-hybrid siblings, and in pure economic terms, you will never recoup the extra cost you pay for the hybrid with fuel savings alone. YOu would have to drive the car 300,000 miles to ever come close to breaking even on the deal. They are "greener", there is no doubt about that. They use less fuel, and pollute less, but in terms of cost alone, it may not be worth it just yet.

ABS Warning Light on dashborad. What does it mean?

I've owned a Toyota Prius for about 2 years now and I havent had any problems. It doesnt require any special maintenance and the battery has a warranty for 10 years. I average about 45 mpg which is less than they claim but still pretty good when you compare to other vehicles out there. I dont really have any complaints. The car is pretty light and so I have to be extra carefull when driving on snow. Good luck!

Is it better to let your gas tank go to almost empty before you fill up or fill up at 1/4 of a tank?

the prius is the best gas mileage wise not in the looks department as far the flaws i think it would be the cost of replacing the battery/fuel cell when it fails at about $3,000 but its suppose to last for 10 years who knows though
