Would it be worth changing out the Headlamp bulbs on my-?

Question:
I have a 06 Chevy Silverado and was woundering if I should change the headlight bulbs to those new white lights that they sell. I am not sure how much better these work than just the normal bulbs? What brand would you reccomend, I have heard of those silver star bulbs before but don't want to replace origional bulbs unless it would be worth it?
