first make sure you have your radio code, once disconnected the radio needs resetting, batteries have a positive+ red and a negative-black leads, so mostly but not always the battery lug has a cover over it, lift that up, black first, you should see a bolt with nuts on , slacken off the nut, use brute force and ignorance to pull up up the connector from the lug., repeat for the red, then as the battery is clamped into place usually with one bolt , slaken it off and lift out the battery, remember even a small battery weighs a ton, so mind fingers and tootsie, plus its filled with acid so keep upright...but if you spill ...wash off immediately...now thats how to do it...but you can charge a battery in situ...much easier...buy a charger, halfords, connect red to red and black to black, wait for a few hours.job done...More Questions & Answers ...
