i'd check that the fuel cap is working properly, sounds like you have a vacuum building up in the tank. take the fuel cap off (not when the tank's full) and run it, see if it makes any difference. if that doesnt work, it might be a sticky egr valve closing the inlet valve too much and locking it closed. when was it last serviced? might be a clogged fuel filter if it's not been serviced in a good while.
