Well to my understanding the pump 'clicks' off when it senses fuel backing up. so you may be pumping to fast and the fuel is backing up (or splashing) and that is tripping the sensors. Something isn't right there mate. It may just be that the nozzle is touching the tank if it feels any resistance it will cut out , make sure it is in right and hold it in the middle.
