Exterior Electric Mirrors?

Question:
I have a 2001 Cadillac. The car is in great shape but I have a problem the exterior front door mounted outside electric mirriors. Both mirriors just start adjusting themself and I have to readjust them so that I can see to the rear. This does not happen all of the time it might happen 3 times a day. I was walking to the car with the key in hand and the mirror started adjusting itself?? What is it?
