If the thief wants your car, he's taking it. Nothing is theft proof. if they want it, they will work out a way to get it. From the sounds, it sounds like a good anti theft system. I had a security bar on an old cliants car (waiting for pickup and the cliant hadn't paid yet, and we didn't trust this cliant) they ended up cutting thier steering wheel, and took the bar off that way. Drove off, stuck us with the bill, and stuck him with a warrant for theft over $1000.What I did was buy a "racing" style detachable steering wheel adapter, and when I'm not in the vehicle, I pop the steering wheel off and shove it behind the passenger seat (i have a standard cab truck), and I have a 2 piece race shifter, on a quick release system I rigged up, and I detach the top half of the stick. Try stealing a car (truck) with no steering wheel and no shifter, good luck.
