Are Isuzu Rodeo 96 and Isuzu Rodeo 98 engines the same?
I am afraid it depends on the car, and whether it has a full service or an interim service.Basically they will check the levels and maybe change the fluids, cam belt, plugs, emissions, tyres, brake wear, they may even lubricate the door catches and hinges.
They will also report on other faults outside of the service and recommend any future repairs.
Read your hand book that will tell you, or if you have not got one of those get a Haynes manual

How would i go about to Fine Tune my Honda Civic?
basics... oil, oil filter, spark plugs, spark plug wires, checked levels, rotate tires, check all lights... then they put that fancy little sticker in the window =)My car feels like it's skipping. Like it's not catching a gear properly.?
It all depends on where you have it serviced. I work at a dealership and I know that our mechanics check over the entire vehicle (including fluids, tires, suspension, belts, hoses, engine compartment, and normally scan the car's computer for trouble codes). Other small shops and Jiffy Lube type places check the basics: tires, belts, fluids but also they try to upsell a lot of unnecessary repairs. The best place to have a car serviced is with someone you know and trust or a dealer. It depends on the manufacturer of the vehicle as they give out the documentation a dealer uses if its an independant garage they will prob have a generic service sheet for use. On the brand i work for its all time based and the onboard computers tell the technician when he plugs in the special diagnostic machine what needs changin
When were Craftsman Wrenches made in Japan? Marking of "bf" on the shank.?
it depends on which type of service it is. it should all be laid down in the back of your service record manual.check with the list in your service manual for the particular service
These are the items that "should" be checked. Some independant garages tend to do a little more and include minor replacements within the service charge that the main agent tend to charge for

Generally find a local garage best by word of mouth that you can trust and talk to them. They are not monsters and will be happy to help if they can. I don't think the the main agent are always so helpful

If you are having it done at a dealership they will tell you what will be checked depending on the service you are having (ie mileage done).Otherwise if it is a local garage ask what gets done and for how much.basic parts . spark plugs , fluids , filters etc.
