On a 1967 dodge with a slant 6 225 engine that need a long block overhaul what else could go wrong?

I plan on purchasing an engine for this vehicle also.....what would be an approximate estimate on this type of repair?

A long block overhaul is a rebuilt engine. If done at a good machine shop, there should be a year long (at least) warranty. What else can go wrong with a "new" engine. Cost, don't know, too old.

best motor made by dodge ,if you want it cheap , call a junk yard your car would be running in 2 days, a rebuilt 225 would cost $2k installed. and run 150k miles. junk yard motor $300 buck or less depending on condition & miles, you and your buddy install it in 1 afternoon. been there done it !
