1999 Buick Century instrument panel guages not working.?

There may have been some kind of warranty with the car. If so return within the allotted time and have it repaired. If the car was sold " as is ", she has no recourse. She probably can't return it. It does not hurt to ask the dealer to pay for part of the repair, the worst that can happen is that they would say no. Her best approach is if she has a warranty with the purchase. Hope this helps. Good Luck to your friend.

About how much does it cost to fix a blown head gasket for a 1995 cadillac deville?

It depends on where you live. There are laws regarding this that differ from state to state. Even a car sold "as is" is not exempt from lemon laws in some states. Most likely, if it is a reputable dealer, they will try to arrange something with your colleague. Otherwise, your colleague may be stuck with the vehicle. My car starts, then eventually stalls...then it won't start again 'til next day?

if it was bought w/o waranty, then no, are are liable for the maintainence and repair. Everyone knows used vehicle w/o waranty is a risk you have to trade off from expensive brand new car.
Return or refund wise, it depends on the contract you signed. some dealer has like 1 week full refund policy, some dealers has like 2 days. but since she bought it in jan... thats like 3 months ago.
just put it this way, you bought a CD player from best buy, and they ask you want to buy the waranty or not, you said no. and they have 30 day refund period. 2 months later, it broke, what can you do? car are the same, regardless of the price is 1000 times more than a cd player.
Many people got suckered into deals like that, but all you can blame is no1 but urself.
Emotionally, you can stay at the dealership and bug them, til someone take cares of you.
Some of the dealership are nice enuff to pay for the repair is its a "minor", because ur bug and brag will lead them to lose more customer that is coming in.
if the repair cost will cost like $5000, then no way in hell they would do it.

Peugeot 406 lx dt 1.9 diesel?

ok, what is it, like april or so? if she bought the car in january and started having problems within a few days, she sure snapped out of it a little late here. a few days after a purchase like that, they may be inclined to help her out, but if she goes in now saying "it was broke from the begining", they will think the same thing im thinking.
just skip it and bring it to a reputable shop, and next time put the bong down and go! they wont feel sorry for someone in a 01 mecedes no matter where she got it. could have got a 06 honda and would be happy as a clam with a warranty that she wont need..but i feel very bad for her, and wish her the best.

Another stick shift question?

Yes, take the car back asap! The used car dealer has to give you a 30 day warranty, that is the law. If they give you a hard time tell them you will get a lawyer involved.
