I have a 1994 probe and I am having a problem with the clutch.
How often is recommended a tune up for a 2005 Ford Escape that I bought two years ago?
When you press the clutch it stays down and you have to manually put it back up.

I put a new clutch slave cylinder and a new clutch cylinder and both cylinder hook to the master cylinder, brakes are working fine though

You may need to bleed the system more, even if you have already. You could have air trapped in the system that is preventing the system from properly pressurizing or charging, in order to function as intended. That would be my best guess without actually physically inspecting the problem myself.

maybe, does the line have a hair line crack in it? are you loosing fluid if you are check the line...what happenes when you bleed the slave cylinder. does it stay up or leak by.Is it possible to tighten down a heat shield or do you have to replace?
most likely have worn clutch parts, the fork that the slave cylinder pushes my be wore out where it hooks to the through out bearing,also the bearing retainer that the bearing slides on my be shot.last the fingers or springs in the clutch may be bad, the only way to know is to take it apart to inspect.More Questions & Answers ...
