Okay its a 1987 Chevy Astro Van when shes like driving it u know she steps on the gas pedal but instead of speeding it slows down like really slow are you guys familiar with this kind of problem? I do plan taking it to the mechanic but I just wanted some ideas.

I believe what is happening is it is getting to musch gas and over flooding the combustion chambers. You probablly need to take it easy on the pedal and drive nice and slow until you get it fixed.
