How do you undowe the nut that hold the water pump bolts that rusted up?
Depends on the brand and type of fluid you are using. I have about 4 different types in my shops. Dexron ATF which is red goes in most ford and Chrysler. Pennzoil power steering fluid which is clear goes in almost every other car. Honda fluid I have is clear/greenish blue. And Type F for older fords. I think the fluid is fine in your pump it just may be the wrong type or the color could just be different with the brand you bought. Why can't I get the interior light to turn off in my car?
what i use is like almost clear power steering fluid.Any horror stories about buying a 2002 gran caravan 3.8 litre engine?
no they can be different colors usually red though clear is fine tooHow do you remove a stuck brake disc?
No, you aren't going nutz,,,Most power steering fluid is "red or reddish" in color, clear is the unusual one.OK different manufactures use different fluids that's why the colors are different. Whats in the fluids are what give it the color. Some cars require the red some clear etc. Use what is specified for your car.
