The only thing I recall is if you would like to transfer you have to measure the frame, size, weight, and there are a lot of experienced shops and books that will be able to help you. Riley was built on a chassis, and I can't think of any common cars off hand that are built that way today, although there may be some. Other than fabricating your own chassis and fitting modern suspension parts / running gear there isn't really a lot you can do. What are your reasons for wanting to do this?My Dad and I run a 1949 RMB. As previously mentioned, the body is coachbuilt onto a chassis. Quite why you would want to put the body onto a modern chassis is a bit of a mystery. The original chassis are tremendously strong. Some think they are shot when rusty, but it is a "C" section girder with a thin plate to box it in. It's usually the thin plate that rusts through - not critical to the structure of the car.

I believe there is a disc brake kit in Australia and the RM club (see link, as in previous answer) are considering importing them. It's an option we are looking at fitting.

Another thing we are considering is fuel injection. Through reading articles in magazines (namely Practical Performance Car) the idea of building a budget DIY fuel injection system and fitting it to improve driveability and fuel consumption is looking very attractive.
