Since replacing hose I have added 3 gallons on this coolant, there is no leaks, but resevoir is empty. Is there a specific way to engine running engine not running, tried both.

How are you adding it? Fill the reservoir to the cold line, fill the radiator to the top. Run it a while in case there is a bubble. If the reservoir drops, refill it (now to the hot line since it has been running).
