Isthere a way to see if a Fuse Relay is bad?

Question:
My car went down recently (2000 Ford Focus zx3) the battery was dead so i put a new one in, but still nothing...i want to check everything before i have to take the starter out and check it.Is it possible one of my relays to my ignition went down if so how would i be able to tell?

If the car has power ,but won't crank ,the starter may be bad.Test this by connecting a test light to the start terminal on the starter and have someone try to crank it.If the test light shows power then,the starter is no good.If there is no power then possibly a fuse,but not likely.Also the clutch switch ,if it has one,or the park/neutral switch can cause a no crank.
