When I turn the key I hear "knocking" noise in the front of my car (Chevrolet Cavalier 2001) and nothing else happens, it won't start... The engine, oil and battery signs turn on everything else is off when the key is in the contact. Whats the problem?

There are so many things that could go wrong, the only person that can tell you what is wrong is someone that can take a look at it. You might have to pay someone, but the best thing is to have someone open the hood and then look at everything, if you know anyone that can work on cars or knows about them enough than have them look at it.
