I have a 2002 Ford Focus that is at the delearship. They replaced the PCM board and now other electrical problems have appeared: the seatbelt & door ajar warning lights are permanently lit, the air conditioner doesn't work - the lights for the air conditioner and recycle air will not come on, and the radio has extreme static. I was told this has nothing to do with the PCM board. My brother had ordered a PCM board with the same number as the original one but it arrived after the dealership swapped the PCM. The one in the car doesn't match the numbers of the original. The dealership said the #s don't need to match, but the out-of-state shop my brother called said they do need to match. Help - what should I do?

What a confusing situation,huh? But the PCM controls nothing but the powertrain so I doubt if the different number has anything to do with the other problems.I would look at individual problems with the other items,such as a door switch not activating properly,a bad antenna connection,And start with a bad AC fuse.You should be able to correct things one at a time.
