My seatbelt is attached to the top of my seat.How do I get the seatbelt loose so I can get the cover on?

You're going to have to cut a hole in the seat cover so you will have a seat belt. I bought seat covers for my truck, then went i noticed that, i said forget it.
Your owners manual should tell you how to take it off. If not, a haynes or chilton manual will definitly tell you everything you will ever need to know about taking apart stuff in your truck.

rover 414 1994, how can i tell which part of the cable is not working?

I also went through that, but I had a custom set made. In all reality all they did was take a normal set and cut it and then used Velcro to reattach it once it was in place. The custom made covers were through a local NAPA store and it only cost another $20 to have this done. It was fully sewn and professional and I think worth the $20.
