Braking/Stopping without pressing clutch??
prob one is probably the radiator is plugged. not all the way just enough so when your not going down the road the system can't keep up. does the radiator look green or discolored. try flushing it out if that doesn't work maby needs replacing. prob 2 could be caused by the erratic temperatures. but that should show up as a code. i had a ford once that would just not run once in a while turned out to be the wire to the fuel pump was rotted and not sending voltage all the time. good luckCar clicking when you turn the key?
Check vacuum. Try to disconnect the vacuum line to the EGR valve, plug it,and test engine again!:-)=Problem #1, electric fan not turning on.
Looking for new driveshafts for my primera?
Could be several causes.
1) Bad thermal switch.
2) Blown fuse.
3) Bad relay.
4) Bad fan.
5) Unplugged?
Buy a $6.00 12 volt test light and find where the voltage stops.

Problem #2 Vacuum leak. Small hose came off the intake?
Look around for a hose (small) that is just dangling not hooked up to anything. Also, with the engine idling, listen for a high pitched sucking noise where something isn't hooked up. Somewhere on the intake manifold.
What does it mean when #10 fuse keeps blowing in my 2001 plymouth neon?
2 problems, i believe.prob 1- either bad thermostat. boil to check it. should open right before water boils-195 degrees. or sediments in cooling system. radiator flush. (free with garden hose.)
prob2- maybe pressure regulator-easy to test.
follow the fuel lines from the injectors backwards. they will lead to this little mushroom looking thing that also has a vacuum line on it. first, pull the vacuum line and see if there is liquid fuel in it. should be none. also a 3rd line returns excess fuel to the tank. pinch it off with a pair of vise grips and see if the car doesn't start properly. if it does condemn the regulator. good luck to you.
first off. The cooling problem, check and make sure your cooling fans are coming on when it gets hot. if they are then it could possibly be a bad thermostat. If the fans arent coming then possibly your coolant temperature switch. There are usually 2 of them, 1 of them controls the gauge in the car and the other turns the fans on when it starts getting hot. I had a problem similar to one you describe with a chevy blazer it would start sometimes then sometimes it wouldnt i had to use starting fluid to get it started a lot of times. it turned out to be the computer had a short and wasnt turning the injector on all the time.hope that helps.
