Answers:

I have a chevy blazer and my check engine blinks at least 18 times what could be the problem?

If it's whining during acceleration with the radio on, it's a bad condenser hooked up to the Distributor. If it whines with the radio off it's because two peaces of metal or material are rubbing to -gether which is only separated by oil. If the oil breaks down and lets the two peaces grind together then the oil needs to be replaced, and it sounds like the oil in the Trans that might be doing it. If the noise persists after changing and replacing the fluid(oil) then it could be a defective part that needs to be verified by a Automotive technician.
