Is it possible to wash my coventional air filter with WD-40 and rinse it out with water and let it dry out or will it screw up? it's for a dirtbike.

it's Cheper to just buy a new one it will make your dirtbike run alot beter then just washing it out. Will you have the air cleener off buy you a can of carb cleen and start the dirtbike and spray some carb cleen into the carb that will make it run alot beter after you put the air cleener on that will get all the old gas off the carb walls good luck

It may cost a little more, but the foam air cleaner is designed to remove the oil that you put on the filter in the first place.
