How do I fix a cracked intake manifold on a 1998 mustang gt?

I tryed using cillcone stuff and JB weld but nothing yet i just need a temp. fix until i can get enough money to buy a new one.

I believe your intake manifold is a composite/plastic one right?? Well you really arent gonna be able to fix plastic correctly.There was a recall a long time ago on these types of intakes from Ford.Make sure your recall was taken care of.The nearest Ford dealer can run your vin number to see if the intake problem was fixed by Ford already.You might get some JB weld to work for a while but i wouldnt trust it at all!! Get yourself a new one or better yet,this may be a good time to look into some performance parts if your into that type of stuff.I mean if your gonna have to take it apart to replace it,may as well buy the good stuff!!Check out this article--

Small screw - head over torqued, hence destroyed head slots. How can I get the damn thing out?

i would try a junj yard and pick up a used on thats in good shape....which should cost less then a new one.....
if you try patching the old one you risk the chance of getting debree in the engine.possibly damaging a valve
