SRS is Supplemental Restraint System. Your airbag. If there's something wrong with the airbag system that's keeping the car from starting, I would say play it safe and get it towed. The last thing you need is an airbag exploding in your face while you're driving down the road.

Ok i asked a question about what kind of tranny i had i guess i wasnt verry specific?

Not sure what srs is, but my hubby is having a prob with his cadillac. Its an 89 el dorado. The other day he came home and cut the switch , but he car wouldn't stop running. He had to unhook the battery cable. He bought a new ignition switch and lock cylinder (whatever those are) and installed them. Now everytime he tried to crank it with the new key the alarm goes off. It thinks he's trying to steal it. The manufacturer key had one of those chips in it..so we called the local GM dealership and they are gonna tow it over there and look at it.

What can I do to fix paint Oxidation problem, the spot is getting bigger?
