How to install front coil springs for 1964 Chevy Impala?

Question:
I've been working on my car dubbed "project 64" for some time. Recently I had work done to my garage and in doing so, I had to take my car off the jack stands and roll it out to make room in the garage. Now that my car is on the floor, if you look at it from the front, you'll see that it leans to the side as if it has hydraulics. I'm planning on installing new shocks, but I was guessing that my springs went bad. Does anyone out there have any knowledge on how to install front coil springs!

i own a repair shop and you need to loosen the bottom ball joint, and place a floor jack under the bottom a-frame ,and slowly lower the a-frame down this will take the tension off the spring so you can remove it,to put it back is the same thing, put the spring in place, and start jacking the floor jack back up,and then put the bottom ball joint back in place to hold it,be careful doing this its more dangerous then it sounds good luck with it.

if so, yeah, this is simple: go to autozone and borrow a coil spring compressor. this is a mechanical device that you will use to compress the old spring. first, put the compressor on the old spring, wind it down (thus putting a load on the spring) so that you can remove it. jack the car up, detach what you need to, and take the coil out! installation is the reverse.

NOTE: take your time and make sure the spring compressor is WELL attached to the spring. i have heard urban legends about how the compressor popped off, the spring released it's energy and caused physical harm to the nearby person. When i did some spring work, i had 2 spring compressors to compress the spring.

I have a 1990 acura integra. MT. Car wont start. Makes a shhh sound and jump starts dont work. Help?

losen up one ball joint and lean out the spindle and place spring on the lower a arm and place a floor jack under the a arm and jack it up untill you can put the ball joint back to the spindle.
