Question:
it's a 2003 f-150 xlt with the triton v-8, automatic. i just had the tranny replaced 3 months ago(under warranty) because the internal clutch was shot. i've brought it back to the dealer for this and they said when the outside temperature at night is about 10 or so the oil in the gears is so thick it takes a second for it to circulate. i have it writing that they said there was nothing wrong but now it's in the 30's and still doing it. the truck has 56000 miles and runs great but should i just drive it till it breaks? after all, they said there's nothing wrong. the warranty wont let anyone but the dealer fix it either, and i don't know why.

How do i remove white paint scuff marks from my maroon Mitsubishi Diamante?
sounds like the dealer needs to buy your truck for the money that is owed to you ( the money you have into it so far ie all your monthly payments and interest etc.) or fix it to factory specs ie just like it used to be before they screwed it up this is a good 1 go to the dealer look for a truck just like yours. there should be a couple, drive it then if it is fine tell them you want yours to drive just like this 1, because how could your truck be normal if it does'nt drive just like the 1 on the lot ?? aaahaa! also get ahold of your attorney if you dont get results BEFORE your warranty is VOID! hope this helps gl2u.Probably your tranny is going. Very expensive get rid of it now or soon.
sounds like the linkage needs adjusted.
