Will a 235 size tire fit on a 8" rim?

Question:
my truck came with 235X15 on a 7.5" rim. I then bought 8" rims and put 31.10.50 on them. Can I go back to 235's and put them on my 8" rims.

Yes sir. You didn't say weather they were 235 75,70, 65,60 or smaller aspect ratio. My father had 235-70's from Chevrolet when he bought his 73 Corvette 454. It had 8 inch rims also. Smaller aspect ratio tires respond well to added rim widths anyway. Good Luck.
