Rough Idle on 2003 Grand Am GT, 3.6?

Question:
My car idles rough when I am stopped at a light or when I go at a low speed letting of the gas it kinda stalls for a second, shakes and then recovers when I hit the gas pedal.
What could that be? Any suggestion is appreciated!

sounds like the idle speed controll valve you caould take it out and blow it with a air line or put sum petroll cleaner in your tank take it for a hard drive on the highway problem solved.

your problem is that they do not make a 3.6 liter engine for that car or any that I can think of for that matter. So I guess that is why it is running rough.
