If its a diet engine then did my Gf's last year '4 valves,2 inlet and 2 exhaust, and bring back the spare' Thats what the guy told me when i went to get parts for it and he was right 2 inlet and 1 exhaust. They are interferance engines which means the valve full travel interferes with the piston full travel. (other factors have sod all affect). Check the head for true but mine was flat and so are most ( internet search). Takes no time to swap and nice and light too.

You won’t really know the extent of the damage, if any, until you take the head off. Assurances that you have definitely bent the valves are not correct. A number of things govern the extent of damage but primarily (1) the speed at which the engine was turning and (2) the load on the engine when it snapped. I don’t know the car but its worth noting that some engines are designed so the valves can not hit the piston….. Good luck.
