What causes potholes?
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DO THIS WORK YOURSELF. SRS/Airbag work is very dangerious, a wrong bump or a short can set it off. If you are not facing it the right direction, it can kill you, are severly injure you. I work in a garage and get airbag work every so often. This is the one part of my job that I dread doing. I take every precaution possible one this. Take it to a Dodge dealer (they will charge more, but its worth your life) and have them diagnose and preform the work. I just finished classes where we were looking into the SRS system, at then end of the course, we set off a few airbags, a few in vehicles, and a few out of vehicles. The one in vehicles didn't look too bad, until we saw the power of them, when set off out side of a vehicle, the airbad [facing so the bag would deploy to the sky], still ended up going about 40 feet in the air, and it scortched the concrete from the mass amounts of heat they give off. An air bag will deploy and deflate in 1/20 of a second, or in the time it takes you to blink, it will go off and deflate 3 times. An air bag come out with enough force where if you have your arm in the way, it can take your arm off. Even though there are no "explosives" in the air bag, there are reactive gasses that make nitrogen that fills the bag to deploy it.
Car won't turn on unless jumped, battery and alternator tested fine at Sears, 03 Taurus. What is the problem?
For safty matters, take it to a shop, its not worth your healt or your life doing it yourself to save a hundred bucks.

Well of course don't take to a rip off shop. Take it to the Dodge Dealer. There may even be a recall on that situation.
