What is really important to do in the 15000-mi service appt for a Toyota Rav4?
weak battery or alternator, possible short. My F150 XLT, 1995 truck won't start when it is raining?
possible or going bad alternatori am not sure how to fix this but i would guess that the head lights r dimming becouse when u hit the brakes the brake lights come on and the brake system is working so they r pulling power from the battery. so try changing the battery
Problem with 1990 Toyota Pickup?
Sounds like a loose ground wire, or alternator going bad.Had the same problem with my 2006 Grand Am (along with many other problems) In the one (1) year I had the car (I purchased new) it was in the shop for 7 out of 12 months because of this problem and would even stall out at times but would restart ok... Pontiac only said that they could find nothing wrong with the car. But I had heard of many others having the same problems....I got rid of it and bought a Subaru....Look ahead, never back :)
Do I have to use same manufacture's tire to replace the flat one ?
No they are not, I have a Pontiac 2001 Grand AM and this is why your headlights dim, in Pontiacs if you don't turn off everything that uses energy your battery runs out so this time change your battery. You have a bad ground wire between the engine and the chassis. When the brake lights pull current, the voltage on the chassis relative to the negative battery post actually goes up a volt or two.
