Can a mobil mechanic charge you a fee even if he didn't fixed your car ?
Try a vice grip or an adjustable lug wrench. Worst case you have to drill out the studs and replace them. How do you check the oil pressure in a truck?
All depends on the vehicle and the style rims. You can use a nut splitter, torch, grinder, cold chisel, or many other suitable tools! Don't worry about the stud--If the nuts stripped you can bet the stud threads are junk too! Replace both!I've never tried it, but what if you threaded another lug nut on the stripped stud until it was tight up against the stripped lug nut. Then arc weld the two lug nuts together and remove both at the same time. Good metal repair epoxy might also weld the two lug nuts together. Then I would try cleaning the stud threads with a tap, but the stud should be replaced to be safe. The same technique might be used to remove a wheel lock lug nut that you've lost the key to.
