What oil do you put into a diff on a mondao?
if your car is old then it aint gonna get any quieter only noisier.the obvois places that generate noise are the engine which may be showing signs of wear and the exhuast.get them checked out if you have any concerns.also behind the door panels should be coated with plastic sheeting to reduce wind noise so check this out too.door panels are easy to remove.Turn off the ignition - that's as quiet as it will get but on a more serious note, you could add padding to the inside of the engine bonnet.
Where can I get a Flamethrower kit for my 2007 Astra Turbo?
Some years ago a company called Low Sound used to sell kits for this very purpose, it was a felt with a resilient backing which was fitted under the carpets in the vehicle and the boot, and was installed under the bonnet and boot lid, (all sections were cut to shape) it worked well on Fords! try good accessory shops.under sealing as suggested will reduce tyre noise.Braking/Stopping without pressing clutch??
Hi you don't say if it is engine noise or road noise. If it is engine noise then log on to www.goodgaragescheme.com and find a garage in your area that uses Forte trade products they do a product called oil fortifier and it worked wonders in my old high mileage rover, If it is road noise then improve the soundproofing under the carpet and perhaps consider changing tyres.
